Giraffe slider card with distress ink background Tuesday 22 January 19

Hi again all you lovely people,

As they say here in Northern Ireland,"What's the craic?" lol which basically means how the heck are you???

I'm recovered from my flu (apart from my sinuses) and Thor my cat's doing really well so I'm feeling hopeful today that his leg is ok and no further treatment is needed!  He broke his leg in two places and dislocated his hip, he's had an operation and loads of bandage treatment so I'm hopeful it will all come to an end and he won't lose his leg, as he's getting around great and running after pumpkin (our minature chihuahua).  Anyway lets get down to business and talk about today's card.

It's such a fun card, I've seen loads of cards where there's an item that slides across and they're made with dies so as I'm trying to just "use what I've got" so I made one without buying any dies.

Check out my youtube channel for all the details.

Items used
Stamps from Make Special cards magazine issue 11
Lawn Fawn Grassy border dies
Scan n cut for trees

Distress inks
Twisted citroen
Faded jeans
Picked Raspberry
Wilted Violet
Stormy skies

Alcohol pens
Card base from pound store

I hope you like it and give it a go.

Sea themed double slider card using Lawn Fawn dies Fri Jan 18

Hey again craft land,

Today I've made a double slider card using Lawn Fawn dies. The backgrounds are made with Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powders in greens and blues and Brushos in the same colours.

The stamp set is really old and some of them don't stamp right (I really need some new ones) but I got enough images that did.  I'm gonna be making a few interactive cards as I heard MayMay Made it say something about a charity before Christmas that wanted interactive cards for kids.  I'm not exactly sure of the details but I'll make them and then contact her.

 Items Used

Really old stamps (lol)
Lawn Fawn double slider dies
Lawn Fawn stitched wave borders
Docraft water colour pens
Crafters Companion coloured pencils.
Brushos
Nuvo Shimmer Powders

So I thought you don't get more interactive than a double slider card lol.  I'm lazy so I like to use dies that make it easier lol.  Anyway I hope you love my creation.

Magic slider card using Stampin Up Thur 15 Nov 18

Hi again folks I'm back lol,

Today I've made a magic slider card using stamps dies and papers.

I bought a die to make this because I have severe cataracts and it was easier to use.  Fortunately I've had one eye operated on since I made this and it makes crafting so much easier.

There are youtube videos that make this card without the die so remember to search and check them out.

I just loved the fun element of this card so I wanted to make one.
Items Used to make this were:

Stampin Up Signs of Santa stamps and dies
Signs of Santa Dsp
Poppy Parade card

Other Supplies used

Free papers from a magazine
Kraft Card
Lawn Fawn Magic Slider Card

The whole top section is the Magic slider card dies and it's then mounted on the card base 11 1/2 x 4 1/8 scored at 5 3/4.  The dsp measures 5 1/2 x 3 7/8.

Hope you like it and give it a go

Stampin Up A little wild card using Lawn Fawn Double slider die and Winter skies Thurs 13 Sept 18

Hi again guys n gals

Today I have another collaboration project.  I've used my Stampin Up stamp set A little wild with Lawn Fawns double slider die and Winter skies stamps and dies, and I've made it a Christmas Card!!!  I've also used inks to make my background.

My little guys are in the jungle watching Santa and the reindeer fly by in the sky, it's soooooo cute!

My card base in Inches 8 1.4 x 5 3.4 scored at 4 1/8.

Using the dies I cut a front and back panel, 1 track panel and 2 slider panels, I also cut 3 pull tabs.  I've used a cello bag and cut it on both sides till it measured about 2 1/4.

On the first card I used a star stencil but I hadn't time to wait for this to dry during my video so I used some white paint watered down and a paint brush to splatter it on my card to create stars.

Stampin Up Items Used

Gorgeous Grape Ink
Dapper Denim Ink
Mint Macaron Ink
Whisper White Card
Mint Macaron Card
A little Wild stamps and dies

Lawn Fawn Items Used

Winter Skies stamps and dies

Tuesday 28 August 18 Lawn Fawn Hay there card stamps and dies with Tonic mousse bacground.

 Hi there everyone,

I'm back today with card that I just couldn't resist making.  I'm really into cute atm so I had to buy these Lawn Fawn Hay there stamps (and quite a few others oopsy!!! you'll see them soon).

I created my background with some Tonic Embellishment mousse in Cornflower blue, Aquamarine and Lemon Sorbet.  I put some on my glass mat added water and smooshed the watercolour card on top.

I made two pieces so I could die cut some wth the Lawn Fawn grassy border dies.

I coloured the images while I was on hols with some watercolour pencils and a blender pen.

The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Simple Sentiments.

The card base is an A6 4 1/8 x11 1/2 scored at 5 3/4.  The background paper is an old one from my stash.  I layered the paper onto my card base then I die cut some grassy borders from one of my mousse pieces.

I layered my scene onto the other piece and cut it to 3 1/4 x 4.  When I was happy I stuck it all down with glue and layered it onto p piece of white card 3 1/2 x 4 1/4.

I hope you like my latest creation.
