OMCFC January - Challenge #28: Movie Inspiration/Sassy Studio/Sassy Medusa

Hi there everyone it's Jacqui here with some more DT Inspiration for Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenges. This challenge is all about Movie Inspiration and I got to use the awesome Medusa Sassy from Sassy Studio's. I picked this image as i'm watching a series on Sky called "Atlantis" which is all about Jason, Hercules & Pythagoras & I love history & science fiction so how could I not use Medusa when i'd just watched them foretell how she became Medusa lol. DLD sneak peek no 5/Simply Soft kit/Daughter card

Hi everyone it's Jacqui here with another sneak peek of the NEW DLD kit Simply Soft out February 1st. For this one I made a card using the papers from Simply soft & one of the TWO digi stamps you get in the kit. I coloured her with my Spectrum Noirs & used an xcut die to cut her out. I also used a Sue Wilson open & closed Camellia die to cut the flowers from the papers. And I finished with a Tonic die for the word daughter. Hope you like and have time to let me know. DLD Sneak peek no 4 of NEW Simply Soft kit coming February/Bag

Hi there everyone I made a bag yayy!! This time for my sneak peek I decorated a bag. I used the NEW DLD Simply Soft papers and punched a border on the background one with a Tonic punch. I also used the papers for the butterfly & the diecut border. Then I added one of the lovely ribbon elements which look so real! I added some create and craft mirror card & some pink gems to finish. OMCFC January - Challenge #29: No Pink Or Red/Faery Ink/Bee-you-tiful Pixie

Hi again guys gals & fb pals hope you're all fine & well & enjoying your crafting. I'm here today to show my Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenges dt project for 17th January. It'll soon be my youngest daughters birthday & she'll be 24!! She once went to a fancy dress party as a bee & this image from Faery Ink called Bee-you-tiful Pixie is exactly how she looked she even had the same hairstyle at the time. So I decided it was a perfect birthday card for her and as she's not a girly girl the colour scheme with "No pink or red" was also perfect for her. I'm pretty sure she'll love it and I hope you do too.

DLD Sneak peek no 3 of upcoming NEW Simply Soft kit/Stepper Card

Hi again hope you're loving all the sneak peeks lol. For this one I made a stepper card (cos I had some in my stash the right base colour). I used the NEW DLD Simply Soft papers and also one of the two digi stamps you get with the kit. I really love that we get digi stamps this time too. I coloured her with my Spectrum Noir pens and distressed everything with a Gathered Twigs distress ink. I also used one of the mat elements and stamped my sentiment on it in the same distress ink. Then I added some creata rub ons a funky little hat some twine & a heart to finish. Hope you like till next time Jacqui over and out.

Cute as a Button facebook challenge

I'm back today with my second project for Cute as a button. This time i'm using the gorgeous image Fred the Giraffe. This project is for our facebook challenge so don't forget to pop over & check it out. I've used some paper from my stash, some Spellbinder & Tonic dies and an Xcut one for the baby. I used Kraft card for my mats & added some glitter then found a Teddy in my stash & added some flowers, ribbon & lace to finish so hope you like & don't forget to pop by our Challenge too.

Dragons Lair Designs Inspiration DT project January 2015/Cinnamon Spice

Hi there everyone hope you're all having a healthy happy new year so far. This is my first DT project for Dragons Lair Designs Inspiration Blog. For this i've used the wonderful new kit Cinnamon Spice and i've also used one of my fav images Rupert & Nellie with leaves. I used my Spectrum Noirs to colour my image then used the Cinnamon Spice papers along with some Tonic dies. I also used a Marianne Maple leaf die and the rest is from my stash. DLD Sneak peek no 2 of NEW upcoming Simply Soft kit from /Box Frame

Hi again everyone hope your all hale & hearty as they say over here. Today i'm showing you my next sneak peek of the NEW DLD upcoming Simply Soft kit. For this one I used a Tonic box frame and covered it in the papers. Then I used Tonic dies for the heart & sentiment & cut them out of some more of the papers. And finally I used Sue Wilson Camellia open & closed flowers & cut them out of the same papers. I also used a Crafters Companion ivy branch die. Cute as a Button DT New Release

Hi everyone i'm so excited as I have a new DT!!! Unfortunately my DT with Bearly Mine has ended due to there closure because of the new VAT regs!!! So I decided i'd try for another one to replace it. I think 3 Dt's is plenty it means I can give each 100% without too much pressure. So anyway my new DT is Cute as a Button digital stamps and i'm here today to show you one of their January releases. This one is called Valentine Kisses. I've coloured her with my Spectrum Noir & added some pink pearl dots. I found some co-ordinating papers in my stash & die cut some with some white mats using a Marianne die. Then the rest was just stuff from my stash. I really like this & I hope you do it's very girly I think. So don't forget to pop over and check out the new digi's and Challenge Blog too.

DLD Sneak peak 1 NEW Simply Soft Kit/Pillow Boxes

Hello everyone it's Jacqui here with my first sneak peek of the new Dragons Lair Designs Simply Soft Collection. It's absolutely stunning and is coming in February! For my first sneak peek I made some pillow boxes with the Memory Keepers punch board. I made 2 different sizes and embossed them with some Sheena Douglas embossing folders. After embossing I highlighted the embossing with some gilding waxes in white & gold and I used a Marigold distress ink on one. Then I die cut my names in white using an Xcut alphabet & added them to the shapes from the kit for on top. And that's it for my first one. Keep an eye out for some more I have soooooo many ideas & I love the Alphabet with this one so I must use it too. Till next time Jacqui over and out.
