Stampin Up Touches of Texture Series Project 3 and Sunshine Wishes dies from Stampin Up

Hi Everyone

Jacqui back again with another tutorial for you.  For todays creation I made a top fold/tent card.  This was a pretty quick project but it's so pretty too.

For this project I used the stamp from Touches of Texture all over and then ran it through my ebosser in a free embossing folder.  I cut my flower from the inside of my layer of Glimmer Paper as it can be expensive and then put my stamped section over the top.  Once I added the flower from Sunshine Wishes dies I cut my word out 4 times in black with stick it on it.  I only meant to cut 3 in black and one in glimmer paper lol.  After layering them all on top of each other I put some Imagination Crafts glitter on the top.  It came out ok but next time I'd use the Glimmer Paper.

Card Dimensions

Black Card for base 11 1/2 x 4 1/8 scored at 5 3/4
Glimmer Paper layer 3 7/8 x 5 1/2
White stamping section 5 1/4 x 3 5/8

Touches of Texture double stamp set Series Project 1

THi there everyone Jacqui here with another tutorial for you.  This project is the first in my series featuring Stampin Up Touches of Texture double stamp set.  This set is amazing and so versatile my mind was buzzing with ideas last night in bed (I know I should be sleeping lol but I'm not much of a sleeper).

Anyway onto the project.  For the first 2 projects I created my own A4 dsp sheet.  I stamped the solid flower stamp all over the A4 piece of white card and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then for my prototype I used Stampin Up ink Lemon Lime Twist, Evergreen Envy and Tranquil Tide and for the second one I used 3 shades of pink from lightest to darkest, Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo & Berry Burst then I went over all of it again with the lightest, Powder Pink to blend it all together.

My next step was to add the heart with the word lovely in it.  This comes from the lovely words thinlets and I layered it onto a heart from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits.  Then I added a banner that came from my stash which I scanned it into my brother scan and cut and cut out a green background for it.  There are two more of the banners but the next size was just too big for my card.  This look can be achieved with the banner punch from Stampin Up.  I added a small decorative pennant banner from my stash and to finish I added Stampin Up Enamel hearts on the green and Sticky sequins in Lemon and Lime twist on the pink and I added some tiny pink gems from my stash on the pink.

For inside my card I used the Stampin Up set Lovely inside and out and layered it onto the same green card.

Anyway I do hope you like my projects and please stop by for more.  If you'd like any products or have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me via my blog, facebook or youtube and I will contact you asap.

If you watch my tutorials don't forget to thumbs up as it really means a lot and I get a sense of what you'd like to see.

Valentines Box No 6 Using Stampin up and stash

Valentines Box Project No 6

Hi there guys, gals and crafting pals I've popped in to show you No 6 in my Valentines gift ideas.  This series was designed to show how you can tell someone you love them without breaking the bank (or gaining lbs) lol

Today I used a piece of card from my stash for my Shadow Box base and then I stamp and embossed in gold onto some red card with a stamp from the Stampin up range "Touches of Texture".

I then used a stamp for the sentiment from "Festive Phrases" and cut it out with a layering oval.  I also cut a piece of gold with the next size up and that's all there was to it, quick, easy and beautiful!

For the Shadow Box base I used a piece of gold card from my stash and cut it to 9 1/8 x 7"
Score all sides at 1/2, 1, 1 1/2 and 2.  Then with the portrait side or short side at the top score at 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 down to second score only.  You'll need to cut diagonally from the end of this score to the one below.  (See template)  Repeat on opposite side.

 The wrap section is 5 1/4 x 10, score on the landscape or long side at 3, 3 9/16, 6 9/16 7 1/16.

Cut shaded sections away.

You'll need the following supplies to complete this project:

Simply scored score board and stylus   122334
Touches of texture double stamp set     143251
Gold embossing powder                        143251
Real red card stock                                106578

Hope you like my latest project if you need help or supplies you can cotact me via jacquirobinson6@gmailcom or jacquimurphy1@hotmail.com.

Till next time Jacqui over and out xx

I'mmmmmmmmmm BACK lol and I've joined Stampinup

Return to craft blogging.

Hi there guys, gals and crafting pals.  I havn't been around for quite some time mainly due to the fact I got married in November yayyyyyy.  I've had so much to do and while I've still been crafting I havn't had time to blog etc too so I havn't been doing any DT work..  I've also developed cataracts in both my eyes so it's making crafting a little more difficult than it should be.  I need a day procedure operation in both eyes but the waiting list is 2yrs for the first and 4 for the second!!!  So till then i'll get around it anyway I can!!

Stampinup

I've also found the Stampinup community since I last blogged and gotten involved with it and i'm into box making in a big way too. I joined Stampinup as a demonstrator simply because it was a great deal but I hope in the future to be able to do video tutorials and hopefully get some customers, I'd sure love to be your demonstrator!  But until then i'll just buy, create, blog and have fun.

So this is the first Stampinup project i'm sharing today.  I'ts a  lovely little card using the Stampinup stamp sets and dies.  Please forgive the colouring as I can't see up close much.  I used the following on this project:

Stampinup

A Little Wild stamp set and Thinlet dies bundle
Touches of Texture a double box stamp set
Floral Statements
Pink gems

Card blank and envelope from Stash
Tattered lace straight layered circles
Tattered lace stitched layered circles

The main card picture was made with the A little wild bundle, the sentiment inside is the Floral Statements and the envelope and the bee around the edge of my card came from the Touches of texture which is a double stamp set bundle.

Anyway I do hope you like my little creation and please call again soon as i'm gonna have loads to show you.

Till next time craft create and most of all enjoy, from Jacqui over and out!
