Lovely Heart card using Stampin Up dies on embossed Nuvo background Tues 19 March 19

Hi there my lovely Crazy Crew,

Today we're making a card that I just adore!!  The purple and gold background is one of those
examples where you start off hating something and when you keep going and push it as far as you can you end up with something spectacular that you love!!!  I've used Distress inks, dry embossing and Stampin Up gold shimmer paint on one.  On the other I used Nuvo shimmer powders over some white embossing.

What I used

Stampin Up Lovely words thinlets
Stampin Up Sweet and Sassy hearts
Distress Inks
Nuvo shimmer powders
Stampin Up All purpose ink in Vegas Gold
Embossing Folder
White embossing powder
Nuvo crystal glaze
Mini flower dies from stash

Flower stamp from stash

I've used an A6 landscape card base 8 1/4 x 5 3/4 scored at 4 1/8
And an A6 top folding card base 11 1/2 x 4 1/8 scored at 5 3/4

I hope you like and maybe even give it a go. And don't forget to check out my youtube channel.

Pagoda box tutorial using Stampin Up Dsp 19 May

Hi again everyone,

I'm back with another project for you.  This box was created by Linda Parker and she called it her bird house box.  I've just changed the sizes to fit the candle I was using.  It reminds me of a Japanese Pagoda so I've called it a pagoda box.

For my prototype I've used the Share what you love dsp and the circle with hugs in it from the Lovely words Thinlets.

For my second one I used the retiring Sweet Soiree dsp and the ovel die with friend in it from the Lovely Words Thinlets.

Measurements in Inches

9 1/2 x 9
Score LS 1 1/2, 3, 4 1/2, 6, 7 1/2 and 9 rotate right
Score SS 1 1/2, 6 1/2, 7 and 7 1/2
Rotate left and notch along the top of box at
3/4, 2 1/4, 3 3/4, 5 1/4, 6 3/4, and 8 1/4

You need to score diagonally from notches to each side of top squares.

Stampin Up Handmade Hexagonal Gift box with acetate window.

Hi folks,

Jacqui back again with another project for you.

Today we're making a lovely hexagonal box for a mini jar candle.  I got the idea for this from Steph at EffiAnn cards.  She made a bigger one with different dies.  I've just changed the sizes to fit my candle and used the Lovely words thinlets.

This one is using the Springtime foils, the hugs circle die, the Sweet and Sassy hearts, gold 1/8 ribbon and the sentiments came from Labels to Love and Party Panda.  The acetate is the Fabulous Foil acetate.

I even made my own tag using the Sweet and Sassy hearts.

I made this one with papers from my stash and the heart from the Lovely words which is in a heart shape.  I also used enamel dots from Stampin Up.

As you can see from the pictures I decorated my jar candle with matching papers and tag which gives a more co-ordinated and professional look.

Measurements in Inches

Box base 9 1/2 x 4 1/4
Score LS 1 1/2, 3, 4 1/2, 6, 7 1/2 and 9
