I was persuaded by my friend Cathy to do a last minute craft fair in our small town as the council were trying to make use of our outdoor facility and stalls were free. So here are some of the last minute cards I made with images i'd already coloured or cut out and backgrounds i'd played with.
The top one is a background I made by mixing clear texture paste with green mica and putting it thru the scrap of some push out flowers. I used the one of the square grand dies to cut it out and used a bigger size for the next layer in mint green card. I layered a piece of multi colour flower ribbon over it and found a decoupage teddy in my stash. I used 3 coloured ceramic daisy flowers and put a green organza ribbon on top and a daughter sentiment under the ribbon was the finishing touch about 20mins work.

This one is a circle stencil on white card with glue thru then blue glitter and layered onto pink card. A decoupage fairy in placed onto a spellbinder die shape in deep pink then I cut some pink and blue poinsettias and mixed them with pink and blue flowers I had. I layered them to make it look like the fairy is sitting in them (as all good fairies should be)! I used a pink leaf flourish coming up out of the flowers at each side and found a pink sentiment any layered it onto a blue circle. I also had to two outline flowers already and popped some blue half pearls on them with pink on some of the other flowers and that was it about 20mins again. I tend to pick my topper first and choose my colours from it. I also have a day playing with my stencils and different mediums and colours every now and again and use them when they suit.

This was my first attempt at colouring a dragon from Sherri Baldy!! Being a non traditional girl I decided to do blue for her with pink bows and purple for the little girl. I just never got round to using it so I thought this would be a good time. I received a free peacock folder in a magazine and used it for the background on white card. I took purple gilding wax and using my fingers rubbed it over to highlight it. then matted it on some purple card then some blue mirror card. I found a paper in white and purple that matched and layered it ont some blue mirror card too. I put some glitter ribbon vertically and 3 purple flower brads top and side. I cut 2 butterflies from the same blue mirror card and put them on each corner facing different angles and then a couple of pink gems finished it off.

This card was another simple make. I used a leaf and heart mask from Nicky Hall with red glitter and placed it on some green card which I embossed with an embossalicious folder.  I had already printed off and decoupaged the flower from fabulous shoes cd by Katy Sue. I already had made the bow from a Robert Adams template so I stuck them all together found a sentiment and cut out a green backing with a spellbinder die from the same green card. Another quick make but if i'd have been starting from scratch it would have taken about an hour I think.
