Valentine/Love/Heart card Tutorial Tues 1 Jan 18

Hi there all you lovely people,

Today I have a card that's suitable for lots of occasions.  And my lovely husband will be getting one for valentines day!

It's a standard UK A6 card base which is 4 1/8 x 11 1/2 scored at 5 3/4 to make a top folding note card.
I've made 3 different versions using Sue Wilson heart dies.  I've even done a Christmas one.  I'm gonna try to do a Christmas Card every week so I've loads done by Christmas 2019.

Supplies Used

Silver Foil card
My Shimmer Powder and Brusho backgrounds (from my last video)
Mini heart dies from stash
Gems from stash
Acetate from Stash
Clearly besotted Merry Mouse Stamps
Sissix Tribal Words dies
Stampin Up Petal Palette stamps
So once again I do hope you like it and remember to check out the video on Youtube.

Box and cards using up leftover hearts, Stampin up and Stash

Hi there guys, gals and crafting pals.

Jacqui back with another project for you.  I made my first ever video tutorial this week and I messed it up about 5 times so I had loads of hearts leftover.  Well I didn't want to waste them so I made 8 cards with them.  All I added was some foil card, some plain card, embossing folders and retired and current stamps from Stampin Up.

I found the card bases in my stash and they were 4 3/4 x 4 3/4.  The embossing folders were all stash and I have no idea where they came from.  The retired stamps were Stampin Up Sealed with love and most of the sentiments came from Stampin Up Petal Palette double stamp set.  I embossed some of the hearts and backgrounds with the folders and I stamped some of them with gold embossing powder and others with berry burst.

So once I'd done the cards I decided to make a box for them and I decided I wanted them standing instead of flat but because of the size I had to use 2 pieces of card for the base and the lid.  It would have been easier and cheaper to do an ordinary box but I decided I wanted some thing different so went with my original idea.

I used some pink pearl card from my stash and Stampin up Fresh Florals dsp.  The die cuts are in gold foil and the die is from Petals and more thinlets.  The gems came from my stash and the bow is from Sue Wilson.

To make the tag I used Stampin ups Scallop tag topper punch the sentiment came from Petal Palette too.

That's it from me for this project if you want more details or supplies please contact me at

Valentines Box No 6 Using Stampin up and stash

Valentines Box Project No 6

Hi there guys, gals and crafting pals I've popped in to show you No 6 in my Valentines gift ideas.  This series was designed to show how you can tell someone you love them without breaking the bank (or gaining lbs) lol

Today I used a piece of card from my stash for my Shadow Box base and then I stamp and embossed in gold onto some red card with a stamp from the Stampin up range "Touches of Texture".

I then used a stamp for the sentiment from "Festive Phrases" and cut it out with a layering oval.  I also cut a piece of gold with the next size up and that's all there was to it, quick, easy and beautiful!

For the Shadow Box base I used a piece of gold card from my stash and cut it to 9 1/8 x 7"
Score all sides at 1/2, 1, 1 1/2 and 2.  Then with the portrait side or short side at the top score at 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 down to second score only.  You'll need to cut diagonally from the end of this score to the one below.  (See template)  Repeat on opposite side.

 The wrap section is 5 1/4 x 10, score on the landscape or long side at 3, 3 9/16, 6 9/16 7 1/16.

Cut shaded sections away.

You'll need the following supplies to complete this project:

Simply scored score board and stylus   122334
Touches of texture double stamp set     143251
Gold embossing powder                        143251
Real red card stock                                106578

Valetines Project No 4 Fun fold pillow box using Stampin up products and a Ferrero Roche

Tiny Ferrero pillow box

Hi folks i'm back with another tiny project for 1 Ferrero Roche.

This time it's an unusual pillow box made by Heidi Smith of FlutterbyHeidi (link below).

This time i've used one of my favourite Stampin up Dsps it's called Foil Frenzy and I hope you can tell how luscious it is from the picture.  And as you can tell it's perfect for a Ferrero Roche, which I think are a great valentine token.

This project only uses a tiny amount of Dsp 5 1/2" x 4".

I also used stampin up dies for the tag and behind the sentiment and I used a punch for the sentiment (details below).
