Sister Act 12th September 2 Cute Ink Little Miss Bashful

Hello once again faithful followers I do hope today finds you hale & hearty & crafting away.  I have a way cute card to share today I do love this image all shy & bashful.

This is my DT project for Sister Act Challenge Blog and here's how I made it

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noirs then cut her out with a Spellbinder die and added a blue frame with the same die.
From my stash I chose some papers in pinks, blues & yellows. I added a stripey one to my 8x8 card base and rounded the corners to match.
Then I used a Grand Spellbinder circle die & cut it out in white.
I took another piece of backing paper in matching colour tones but a different design & cut out a circle with my ek success scissor circle and laid it on my white one.
I cut another smaller circle and added it to a cerise pink doily.
After that I cut a butterfly border from some pink glitter card and added it to my topper.
Using a Sue Wilson die I cut & shaped a bow in white & pink.
I also cut some hearts in pink & blue with another die (not sure where its from).
The sentiment is from a Crafters Companion Vintage cd.
To finish I edged my topper with detail sparkle medium in blue and added some dots to my circle.
Oops nearly forgot I put a gem on my bow too.
Once again guys, gals & fb pals that's me over & out till next time.

Sister Act 5th September Fitztown/Fae 9

Hi again it's me back from my hols to rainy wet Northern Ireland shucks!! Oh well it'll be different when we win the lottery lol. That's if we remember to even enter it hehe. A little rain never hurt anyone so get your wellies on & go splash in the puddles, sing in the rain & squelch mud puds with the kids! (definition of mud pud: puddles in the grass that you stand in & can feel the mud squelching, with your wellies on of course). I know i'm nuts but this is what I call them when i'm out with my nephew Tyler although now he's started school we havn't done it in ages, note to self remember to go to the park with Tyler & make mud puds.
Ok time to be serious hmmmm nope not possible hahaha.

So this week we're sponsored by Fitztown and i've used the awesome image Fae 9.

How'd I do it?

  1.  I've coloured the image with wink of stella brush glitter pens and gone round it with milled lavender distress ink. I've distressed the next two white layers round the edges with this too.
  2. Cut it out with a Tonic die
  3. Layered it onto Create and Craft pastel mirror board which i've used for all three mats.
  4. Then I took a piece of white card with an Ali Reeve mask over it purple glitter paste through it & then when nearly dry micro beads on it for texture. It feels AWESOME I do love texture & dimension on my cards.
  5. The base layer is some more white card embossed with an embossalicious folder from Crafters Companion. Then some imagination detail sparkle in purple in some of the flower centres. (You need to do this last & let it dry then).
  6. I embossed another strip of white card and put some lilac hessian material over it.
  7. I used Heartfelt creations flower stamp & co-ordinating Spellbinder die in shades of purple & a tattered lace flower die for my corner flowers.
  8. I added some leaves I already had cut out in my stash
  9. Finally I added a sentiment from my stash

And that my dear bloggers is it's journey from start to finish so for another time I wish you health & happiness till next time Jacqui over and out.

SDD Challenge 5th September/Anything but a card

Hi there all you lubberly crafters hope you're having a craftastic day lol (meant to make you smile)
Anyway ignore my attempts at humour and lets get down to business. Which is ....... my DT make for Stamping Dragon Designs Challenge Blog/Anything but a card

Originally I made a bookmark for this as I needed one for my hols but because i'm in my Christmas phase now & have loads of time I made myself a Christmas Decoration.  For this project I used a free paper from the SDD fb page (look us up & join in the fun but only if your crazy lol) and I used a background frame & bauble from the Stamping Dragon Whimsical Christmas Kit. I started off with one of the Tonic paper frames & covered it with the paper.  Then I put it together and distressed the edges with chipped sapphire Distress Ink.  I put the bauble image onto a snowflake decoration and then added blue pearls.  Then I put the frame from Whimsical Christmas into the Tonic frame and placed the snowflake on top.  I added 2 Tonic die cut corners.  I stamped a Christmas poinsettia in Tumbled Glass Distress Ink & cut it out with the matching Spellbinder die. I shaped it & added a gem.  I used a Cheery Lynn die for the white foliage to finish and Voila it was complete.  I hope you like it, if you do let me know plz. Thanks
Once again Jacqui over and out
