A modern Christmas Card

I borrowed the design for this card from Sue Wilson but i've used non traditional colours. I cut three squares of white card and lay them on top of each other.  Then I chose purple & pink inks & 2 different snowflake stamps and stamped them randomly over the squares.  After that I covered the squares in double sided sheets and spread glitter all over them.  I layered each square on purple card matching up the design as much as possible.  I stamped a Sentiment in matching purple ink & cut it out with a SB die. Then using a Tonic die I cut out a purple mat for it.  I used another SB die to cut out the poinsettia & also embossed it. To finish I added a purple gem to the centre.  I really like the finished result & hope you do too.

Till next time Jacqui over and out.

Open Minded Crafting 5th July using Hootie from Crafty Sentiments

Hi guys and gals today i'm here with my 1st project for
What another DT I hear you say? I know I know but I didn't intend to end up with 5 dt's lol.
I was doing 2 and I had loads of time to do another one so I answered a few DT calls (I never expected them all to say yes) but when they did I was quite chuffed so I said yes.  If it turns out that I can't do them all with 100% commitment then i'll rethink it but for now i'm a happy bunny doing lots of pretty dt work (at least I hope you think its pretty) the only down side is all the computer work (not my fav thing to do yuk).

Anyway enough waffling I present to you my project

What I used for my water everywhere project

Ali Reeve mask
Butterfly edger die
Promarkers
Tonic diamond swing die
Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle texture paste red, blue and silver
Ribbon from stash
Blue & red card
7x7 card base
Toadstool & snail from stash

Once again plz let me know if you like it
Till next time

Stamping Dragon 4th July Easel Card

Hi there guys gals and fb pals

The Stamping Dragon July Challenge is up and running.  Hope you check it out.

I'm here today with my Inspiration piece for the July Challenge for Stamping Dragon

An Easel Card

I decided i'd challenge myself for this one and use only what ever I had and freebies just to prove you can do whatever you want if you try.  It was fun!

So I used an image from Dragons Lair Designs that I already had coloured in called Ruper Fawkes (what you can't see is the dynamite in his hand lol)
I think it just looks like an old  picture of  a relative which is why I put the frame on it.
The frame is a freebie from Stamping Dragon fb page and I just jazzed it up with some gilding flakes corner peel offs and candi.
The bottom piece is something I made with my gelli plate ages ago.
The embellishments and sentiment are all freebies I got from Crafters Companion!

So I made a great card without spending any money lol.  I love getting new stuff but we can't do it all the time so you have to learn to change things up a bit now and then.

Plz let me know what you think?

Till next time. Jacqui over and out.
