Christmas has come

Hip hip hooray it's Christmas!!

We wish you a merry christmas & 2 pints of beer. Confused I know this is how I remember my Dad singing the lyrics to this song lol. He put the 2 pints of beer in instead of the And a Happy New Year!  Anyway that's not why you're here (at least I hope not) maybe it's my madness you come to check out and not my cards!!!! Shock horror, balderdash I don't care why you visit me as long as you do visit me hehehe.

Right down to business i've been making Christmas Cards (just in case you havn't guessed) :)
I've been to the Dragons Lair and raided it yippeeeeee.  So here's my first card

Yesterday I had a play day inspired by Sue Wilson on Create and Craft (pics to come soon) and I made a few extra backgrounds.  This one was done using a Chloe snowflake die with China Blue & Tumbled glass distress inks.  Then I found some matching card and layered it with some blue card and left it there.  Today when I opened my Christmas Box to finish the card I found this topper already cut!  So I decided fate was telling me something. I sprayed it with Spray & Sparkle and mounted it on foam pads.  In my snowflake box I already had the 2 blue snowflakes in one corner & the one on my bow so easy peasy add a bow & i'm done.  I'm going to enter it into a challenge or two or three etc etc etc lol

SDD 15th June DT Inspiration for Dragons Den

Hi again guys gals and fb pals hope you're all hale and hearty and having a crafty party hehe. I'm in a rhyming mood lol.

I'm here again with some June inspiration for you.  For this piece I used the Triple Swirly Heart from Stamping Dragon Designs to make a different, modern type of card suitable for any birthday or romantic occasion. I simply printed it onto green card and covered it in iced jewels from Cosmic Shimmer to add some decadence (what a word!). I cut it out with a Tonic die.  Then I simply mat and layered with a pale green stripe card (which is hard to make out as its quite subtle) and black & white card.  I cut out the sentiment on my silhouette (which I am in the process of learning) and I made the flower with a green button design from SDD which I printed multiple times and layered. I added some frippery from my stash (I love that word frippery too) hehe some green glitter wire, a black gem stem and a white flower and voila it is complete. So what do you think I wonder?  Let me know please. Till next time cya l8r dragonettes

Fitztown Shaped Card Challenge 41 using Car 10

Hi there guys gals and fb pals hope you're all crafting like crazy.

Today i'm here with my project for my 2nd challenge with Fitztown a Shaped Card.

For this card I used Car 10. Now i'm not really a male card maker and because i just give my cards to charity I don't have to be yayyy lol.  But I have to admit this one was pretty easy.  I used my spellbinder Grand Square to make the card shape by cutting out 2 scoring an inch down on one and gluing the top bit together.  I coloured my image with promarkers and then raided my stash. The Vintage tag, 3 top embellishments and Cars for speed base are from Crafters Companion.  The key is from a Heartfelt Creations stamp I stamped in black memento & embossed in clear powder then cut out after that I just assembled it.  I've also decided i'm going to give it to my son for his 30th birthday in July. Once again if you like please let me know I love to hear from you.

Fitztown Challenge 39 Favourite Colour using Cameo 10

Hi there all you lovely bloggers, so, whats the craic? (How you doing Co Antrim style) lol

I'm back at Fitztown Challenge Blog doing some lovely cards with their gorgeous images.
At the minute cameo styles are very popular so i've used one called Cameo 10 for my first challenge project.

Ok so I kinda went to town with my imagination lol. I decided she was dreaming of her wedding.  I know the dress etc are purple but she doesn't look the least bit conventional (just like my daughter who says she'll be wearing a purple dress if she ever gets married!)  She's only 22 time to change her mind I hope!  Anyway I used so much stuff on this card well you do for wedding!

What I used

Katy Sue cd fabulous fashion & shoes
Create & Craft pastel mirror board in green
Purple & white card from the Paper Mill
Purple sequin trim ribbon from my stash
Tonic corner die
Ek success circle cutter
Corner rounder
Half pearls from stash
Green ribbon ceramic flower & glittery foliage from stash

Bearly Mine Designs Inspiration using Spring Flight

I'm back!!!!!

Hi again everyone and whats the craic?

(How you doing Co Antrim style lol)

I'm here today to share my inspiration post with you for Bearly mine Designs.  For this one I used the Spring Flight papers which are really cute, colourful and totally trendy atm. The sort of papers that its just a joy to look at and you get so many not just in different colours but in so many styles too.  Anyway enough of my drooling lol here it is and i'd love you to tell me what you think?

But before you see it remember not only do you get Bearly Mine Goodies you also get a Surprise Marianne package! So let the crafting begin, good luck and have fun.

How I made it

I used an 8x8 card base with my Spring Flight paper and some blue card to mat it onto.  I got a lovely new stamp so I simply stamped it onto some card and embossing it with Cosmic Shimmer powder before cutting it out.  I added definition and dimension with some pink half pearls and blue gems. Then it was embellishments all the way.  Some matching blue card punched using a Tonic punch with some pink and blue lace and deep pink trim with bling across it.  I added a blue bow and pink ceramic flower in the middle added a sentiment backed onto matching blue card and another ceramic flower to finish.

So once again till next time cya l8r xx

Don't forget to pop by our challenge blog for some great prizes!

I couldn't wait to colour this one and I  used my wink of stella glitter wands as they're so shiny.  I coloured this image twice and decoupaged the centre with the 2nd one. I used some awesome Kraft Kard with green flowers on it and a pink mat. I put glitter in the centre small dots. I used Lace and green ribbon across the centre and embellished with flowers, butterfly and sentiment from my stash.  Hope you like and have  the time to let me know.  Till next time Jacqui over and out
