Cinnamon Spice Sneeky Peek 1

Hi there everyone it's not long now to the big day!! Christmas Eve 2moro yayy!!  But before I get too excited lets get down to business lol.  I've popped in today to show you my first sneek peek of Dragons Lair Designs NEW kit "Cinnamon Spice".  For this project I made a scrapbook page as you can see.  It's actually a hybrid as I merged two of the papers and added some of the fancy swirls & words before printing it out. Then I added my photo (my gorgeous daughter & her son my first & only grandchild). I added the words from the heart in different colours, some stick on hearts and then I glittered the word gorgeous before layering onto some green then red card.  Hope you like what I did cos I kinda LOVE it. So till next time Jacqui over and out & MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone.

OMCFC 20th December #26 Jessica Weible Holiday Birds "All White"

My LAST DT project of the year!!  So Christmas is soooooooo close and we're all excited as we have a baby to buy for this year lol. Our Grandson Tj was 1 on Halloween Night (we'll never forget his birthday lol) so we get to buy toys and have fun we can't wait!! Anyway on to business.  This is my last DT post for this year OMG I can't believe we'll soon be into another year! Anyway this post is all about a white Christmas (which I hope we have!!!). This challenge is making an all white Christmas Card, unfortunately the image I chose didn't have a black & white outline so I had to use some colour. I used a Jessica Weible image called Holiday Birds I used just one bird & one house (there's loads of stuff in there) and the rest of my card is white. I made a 6x6 card and printed my images small to try to minimalise the colour. I think I did a good job BUT do you? Let me know!

For this card I used the Jessica Weible image Holiday Birds
Crafters Companion Christmas Eve Create a Card Die
Sue Wilson Poinsettia die
Marianne rose die
Joy foliage die
White Pearl Card
White half pearls
White pearl ribbon beading

Once again if you like it plz let me know till next time I wish you all the most happy peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year. So till next year Jacqui over and out!!

Imagination Crafts Challenge

Hi everyone I've found the Imagination Crafts blog whoopee I love using masks & sparkle!
I've made a card using one of their snowflakes masks.
I found some lovely paper and put some Creative Expressions glitter paste through it. (I didn't have any purple sparkle medium left!) Then I simply added a tree & some purple pearls from my stash.  The Merry Christmas is a tree decoration from a box I bought last year. I then mat & layered it with gold & purple card. I also added some faux bling string in purple. That's it from me for today hope to see you stop by soon.

Till next time Jacqui over and out.

Victorian Christmas Collection DT project/Mini book

I made a mini book yayy this is only my 2nd attempt at making a mini book and i'm beginning to get the hang of it at last lol.  The NEW Victorian Christmas Collection is absolutely stunning as you can see by the amount of sneak peeks I did I simply couldn't stop using it!  I got this little book at our local craft fair & I wish i'd bought more now, but I just wanted to give it a try!  I think it turned out really well and as my grandson is one this year i'm hoping for some awesome pics to put in it.  I've used papers, mats, toppers, embellishments all from the kit and just added ink, a Tonic die & some embellishments. Oh and my new fav thing is liquid pearls. I've always wanted to try them so I got 8 bottles at the fair to add to my stickles and detail sparkle!  I really hope you like it as much as me and i'd love you to let me know. Thanks for stopping by Jacqui over and out.

Merry Monday Christmas Challenges #138

I made this card especially for this challenge and I loved the colours I used they are so rich and vibrant.

For this card I used gold & purple card with an embossalicious snowflake folder on the top gold panel. I actually used an off cut from some A3 card for the base and I love the dl size & style.
Then I used some Tonic idyllic dies and a Tonic sentiment die in the middle. To finish I used Sue Wilson poinsettia & some gold berries from my stash.  Hope you like it

Less is more Challenge

Hi folks i've popped in with a quick post as I made a card for the "Less is more" challenge. Hope you like it.

I used the colour for my inspiration.  I found a scrap of card I had stamped & embossed a Chloe snowflake stamp onto. Then I cut a fork at the end to make my banner. I embossed a piece of white card with a snowflake folder and die cut some white snowflakes with some Spellbinder snowflake dies.  To finish I added a sentiment from my stash.  And that was it quick & easy. Why don't you pop on over to the http://www.simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/ & have a go yourself.

Going out of Business sale

Hi there everyone

I've just popped on with some terrible news!  One of my DT's Bearly Mine is shutting up shop at the end of December due to the new Legislation!  The good news for you is that they're having a sale across December so it's a great opportunity to pop on and get some of their beautiful papers while you can at a special price. It's so sad to see so many small businesses be crushed due to this Legislation and i'd like to take this opportunity to tell the owner Donna Smith thanks for having me on your DT and supplying me with some beautiful papers too.

I hope to see you around in the future.

Till next time

Sneak Peek of Victorian Christmas/A very vintage Christmas Card

Hi there everyone it's Jacqui from Dragons Lair Designs Design Team with my first sneaky peek of the NEW Victorian Christmas Collection.  I made my first vintage Christmas Card and I quite like it.  Even though i'm not a terribly vintage style of card maker I think it worked out well.  I've added a rich brown mirror board which I embossed to one of the back ground papers. I also used one ribbon, a topper and a paper for the flowers from the collection & this is just a snippet!  So remember to look out for the next sneaky peek coming soon!
